On the 14th April 2018 I flew to Perth in Western Australia on the non-stop Qantas Dreamliner.
I spent 6 nights in Perth then travelled the short distance to Fremantle for 4 nights before returning to the UK on 26 April 2018.

Follow up
Just as a follow up I wanted to mention that I did eventually return to Australia, 10 years later!
