A couple of hours after we arrived it was time for our first up close look at Ayres Rock.
We had booked a Sunset ride around Ayres rock on the back of a Harley Davidson motorbike courtesy of Uluru Motorcycle Tours.
All four of us were the passengers on the bikes as we rode up to and around the perimeter of Ayres Rock. They then took us to the Sunset viewing point and offered us a complimentary glass of champagne.
None of us had ever been on a motorbike before and it was a superb experience.
When we arrived back at the resort we headed into the main food and bar area and had an Aussie barbecue while listening to the live music.
